There are two ski areas that call Red River home, Red River Ski & Summer Area and Enchanted Forest Cross Country & Snowshoe Area. Red River Ski & Summer Area is designed for alpine (downhill) skiing; whereas, Enchanted Forest Cross Country & Snowshoe Area is for nordic (cross-country) fans.

Red River Ski & Summer Area

Since Opening in December of 1959, the Red River Ski & Summer Area has been a great place for locals and visitors to learn how to enjoy the slopes in a safe and exciting environment. The Red River Ski & Summer Area offers lessons for beginners, all the way up to expert mountain shredders.

Enchanted Forest Cross Country Ski & Snowshoe Area

The Enchanted Forest Cross Country Ski & Snowshoe Area is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and offers 33km of groomed trails for both classic and freestyle skiing. Enchanted Forest also offers 15km of trails devoted to snowshoes and 5km of trails where you are able to ski with your dog.
