This two story rustic log cabin sits just east of Red River behind the Red River Stables. While sitting on the front deck you will enjoy the views of Red River and the mountain. Right as you walk into the cabin you will see the living room, dining room, and the kitchen as it has an open floor plan concept. There is plenty of seating for the whole family in the spacious living room. There is a Tv, a DvD player and an electric fireplace in the living room for those relaxing evenings after a day of Red River adventures. The dining room table seats 6, with 4 more barstools located at the island with granite countertops in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, as well as a gas grill on the deck for your use. Enjoy your evenings by the fire pit in the backyard as you gather around for stories of today’s adventures. You can enter the house from the side door that leads directly to a mud room where you can drop your ski clothes and shoes after a hike or a day on the slopes. When it’s getting late and you’re ready for bed, you will find the master bedroom with a queen size bed on the first floor along with a master bathroom. The second bedroom is also located on the first floor and has a queen bed as well. You will also find the second bathroom with a shower on the first floor. Admire the authentic aspen wood beds this house has to offer. If you make your way up the stairs to the second floor you will find 2 queen beds in the loft area, sleeping 4 guests. Off the loft, you will find the 3rd bedroom that will sleep 4 more guests. In this room you will find a queen bed and 2 twin beds. Ceiling fans are in all 3 bedrooms. This property has WiFi. You will not have to worry about packing your whole closet when you stay with us at this property, because there is a washer and dryer combo! Whether booking direct or through a third party, all reservations are subject to our rental terms and conditions and cancellation/refund policy. If you have any questions, please reach out prior to your stay. This property is not pet friendly, so you will have to keep Fido home this trip. There is plenty of parking for your trailers and OhVs.

To pick up your keys and/or keyless entry code, check in at the Reservations Unlimited office located at 312 West Main Street Red River, NM, 87558. If you anticipate being late, you must notify Reservations Unlimited and they will provide instructions to access your reserved property after hours.

Interaction with guests

Guests will receive a confirmation email containing all the information you will need for your stay. If you were to ever have any problems, please reach out to the office during normal office hours or use the emergency number that can be found on your check-in paperwork. Red River is nestled in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, located in the southernmost part of the Rocky Mountains. The mountain town is completely surrounded by the Carson National Park. Despite being a small town, Red River has an extensive dining selection that is sure to satisfy even the pickiest eater. Enjoy everything from bistros and cafes to Italian, Mexican, and even the finest steakhouses while maintaining relaxed mountain vibes. Hiking is a fun and easy way to explore the natural beauty that Red River has to offer. There are several leisurely trails around town for those looking to have a relaxing stroll through the Carson National Park, as well as the more challenging terrains for those adventure seekers.

Getting Around

Red River is an ideal town for walkers. At a little over one mile long, visitors can easily stroll along the sidewalks and take in all the town has to offer. After shopping, skiing or just enjoying all this mountain offers, visitors have the option to not walk at all. The Red River Miner's Transit provides free year-round, seven-days-a-week, wheelchair-accessible service anywhere in town. Skiers especially love the hotel to slope-side service.

Directions

For guests flying into New Mexico, we recommend flying into Albuquerque International Sunport, Santa Fe Municipal Airport or Taos Airport. Once you’ve landed, it’s time to make the short drive to Red River. Rental cars are available at all airport locations.
