About The Neighborhood

Red River is nestled in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, located in the southernmost part of the Rocky Mountains. The mountain town is completely surrounded by the Carson National Park. Despite being a small town, Red River has an extensive dining selection that is sure to satisfy even the pickiest eater. You can leave the fancy attire at home and enjoy anything from bistros and cafes, all the way to Italian, Mexican or even the finest steakhouses while still maintaining those relaxed mountain vibes. Hiking is a fun and easy way to explore the natural beauty that Red River has to offer. There are several leisurely trails around town for those looking to have a relaxing stroll through the Carson National Park, as well as the more challenging terrains for those adventure seekers.

Getting Around

Red River is an ideal town for walkers. At a little over one mile long, visitors can easily stroll along the sidewalks taking in all the town has to offer. After shopping, skiing or just enjoying all this mountain offers, visitors have the option to not walk at all. The Red River Miner's Transit provides free year-round, seven-days-a-week, wheel chair-accessible service anywhere in town. Skiers especially love the hotel to slope-side service. Transportation pick-up is available.

Directions

For guests flying into New Mexico, we recommend flying into Albuquerque International Sunport, Santa Fe Municipal Airport or Taos Airport. Once you’ve landed, it’s time to make the short drive to Red River. Rental cars are available at all airport locations.

No Smoking. Please wash your dishes and take out trash before leaving property. Please don't adjust refrigerator temperature. Please leave temperature on heater at 55 degrees before leaving property.

There is limited trailer parking available. Please proceed to the Reservations Unlimited office located at 312 W Main to complete the check-in process. Reservations Unlimited is currently using contactless check-in - please look for an envelope with your last name displayed on or near the office door upon arrival into town. This envelope will contain all of the relevant check-in information but we do ask that you review and sign the first page and either leave that with a team member or in the dropbox located by the office door.
