With an unbeatable location off Pioneer Road, it’s no surprise that the Claim Jumper Townhouses are sought after by folks visiting Red River. Claim Jumper 4 faces the town fishing ponds, backs up to the river, and is just across the street from the Red River Ski Area’s Platinum Chair Lift. It is walking distance to wherever you want to be in town. This comfortable unit features a full kitchen, a living room with a gas-log fireplace and a flat-screen TV, and of course a back porch that opens up to a picnic area on the river. Downstairs is a half bath, and the living room sofa can convert into a queen sleeper (making it possible to sleep 8). Upstairs are two bedrooms and a full bath (tub/shower). A bedroom with a king bed overlooks the fishing ponds, and a second bedroom with a queen bed and a twin/twin bunk has a private balcony from which to take in the sights and sounds of the river as it perpetually races by. Amenities include WiFi, charcoal grill, fire pit in the courtyard and ski locker. No trailer parking. The Property has Direct TV satellite service. Each Claim Jumper unit has 2 dedicated parking spots. All other vehicles will need to park off the property. There is NO trailer parking allowed at the Claim Jumpers. Property has No Washer/Dryer Square footage is 1224.

To pick up your keys and/or keyless entry code, check in at the Reservations Unlimited office located at 312 West Main Street Red River, NM, 87558. If you anticipate being late, you must notify Reservations Unlimited at (575) 754-6415, and they will provide instructions to access your reserved property after hours.

About The Neighborhood
Red River is nestled in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, located in the southernmost part of the Rocky Mountains. The mountain town is completely surrounded by the Carson National Park. Despite being a small town, Red River has an extensive dining selection that is sure to satisfy even the pickiest eater. Enjoy everything from bistros and cafes, to Italian, Mexican, and even the finest steakhouses while maintaining relaxed mountain vibes. Hiking is a fun and easy way to explore the natural beauty that Red River has to offer. There are several leisurely trails around town for those looking to have a relaxing stroll through the Carson National Park, as well as the more challenging terrains for those adventure seekers.
Red River is an ideal town for walkers. At a little over one mile long, visitors can easily stroll along the sidewalks and take in all the town has to offer. After shopping, skiing or just enjoying all this mountain offers, visitors have the option to not walk at all. The Red River Miner's Transit provides free year-round, seven-days-a-week, wheelchair-accessible service anywhere in town. Skiers especially love the hotel to slope-side service.
For guests flying into New Mexico, we recommend flying into either Albuquerque International Sunport or Santa Fe Municipal Airport. Both airports offer daily flights into the area. Once you’ve landed, there are a variety of ways to get to town depending on your preference. Rental cars are available at both airport locations, though please note that Google maps doesn’t always provide an accurate location. You can also reserve to be picked up by our charming local transportation, Twin Hearts Express and Transportation. Twin Hearts offers a shuttle service directly to Red River, along with the surrounding communities. Reservations for Twin Hearts Express are mandatory, so please make sure to schedule your ride prior to arrival.
All Claim Jumper properties are non-smoking. Please wash or start dishwasher and take out trash before leaving property. Please don't adjust refrigerator temperature. Please leave temperature on heater at 55 degrees before leaving property.
Check-in time is 3 PM and check-out time is 10 AM. Please contact the Reservations Unlimited office at 575-754-6415 if you anticipate being early or late. To check-in, you’ll go to the Reservations Unlimited office at 312 West Main Street, Red River, NM 87558. The office is mid-town, on Main Street, and directly across the street from the Der Markt grocery store and Go Kart City. Most Reservations Unlimited vacation rentals have full kitchens, a fireplace, and a television with cable or satellite programming. Many have a washer/dryer. Laundry detergent is not provided. Please check the property description carefully for specifics, and ask if in doubt. Kitchens should be stocked with basic cookware, utensils, dishes, etc. Wood is provided for the fireplace (unless it is gas-burning). Propane is provided if the location has a gas grill. Clean towels and linens are provided and in place upon arrival, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, hand soap and dish soap. No maid service is offered during your stay; however, towels may be exchanged every other day. No pets are allowed unless given specific permission in writing. A $100, non-refundable pet fee can be charged pre-check in, during, or after the stay. Additional charges may apply if owners do not clean up after their pet. Damages from pets are not covered under the property damage fee. All units are non-smoking. Given rural conditions, occasional outages of internet access and/or cable services are possible. No refunds or rebates will be given for service disruptions. If planning to bring multiple vehicles or if pulling a trailer, please first verify with the office that there will be ample room at your reserved location.
