This beautiful 3-story home is located in town but sits on the side of the mountain, giving you beautiful mountainous views with easy access to town!!! With two large and beautiful decks as well as a fire pit, you can either gather around the fire at night and tell stories, or enjoy a cup of joe in the brisk mountainous morning air on one of the decks. This property has plenty of room for everyone as it sleeps 12! The home has 6 spacious rooms and 4 full bathrooms. If you are worried about packing enough clothes, don’t worry, you have access to a full washer and dryer set. The kiddos are going to love the play area located downstairs. So if the adults need some quiet time, the kiddos can go enjoy an area just for them. The kitchen is fully furnished and has plenty of room for the whole family to hang out in. The living space is an open floor plan with the fireplace being the focal point. If you find yourself needing to unwind in front of the large flat screen Smart TV located in the living room and most bedrooms. Please note this property doesn’t allow pets, does not have room for trailer parking (located at the end of a dead-end street), and is a no-smoking. Whether you are enjoying the summer warmth by lounging on one of the private decks, enjoying the mystic views of the mountains, warming up by the gas log fireplace, or celebrating life and its milestones with the ones you love, this comfortable and spacious home is perfect for your Red River memories. About The Neighborhood

Red River is nestled in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, located in the southernmost part of the Rocky Mountains. The mountain town is completely surrounded by the Carson National Park. Despite being a small town, Red River has an extensive dining selection that is sure to satisfy even the pickiest eater. You can leave the fancy attire at home and enjoy anything from bistros and cafes, all the way to Italian, Mexican or even the finest steakhouses while still maintaining those relaxed mountain vibes. Hiking is a fun and easy way to explore the natural beauty that Red River has to offer. There are several leisurely trails around town for those looking to have a relaxing stroll through the Carson National Park, as well as the more challenging terrains for those adventure seekers.

Getting Around

Red River is an ideal town for walkers. At a little over one mile long, visitors can easily stroll along the sidewalks taking in all the town has to offer. After shopping, skiing or just enjoying all this mountain offers, visitors have the option to not walk at all. The Red River Miner's Transit provides free year-round, seven-days-a-week, wheel chair-accessible service anywhere in town. Skiers especially love the hotel to slope-side service. Transportation pick-up is available.

Directions

For guests flying into New Mexico, we recommend flying into either Albuquerque International Sunport or Santa Fe Municipal Airport. Both airports offer daily flights into the area. Once you’ve landed, it’s time to venture on over to town. Rental cars are available at both airport locations, though some guests find they prefer local transportation. Twin Hearts Express and Transportation offers transportation to Red River and the surrounding communities from both airport locations. Reservations are mandatory, so make sure to schedule your ride prior to arrival.

Bear's Den is a non-smoking property. No Pets Allowed. No Trailers Allowed Please wash or start dishwasher and take out trash before leaving property. Please don't adjust refrigerator temperature. Please leave temperature on heater at 55 degrees before leaving property.

Please check in at the Reservations Unlimited office, located at 312 W Main Red River, NM 87558. Check-in begins at 3:00 PM daily but is not guaranteed during peak periods. If you arrive after hours, you will find an envelope taped to the front door that contains your check-in instructions and other information relevant to your stay. If our office is closed when you arrive, please sign the first sheet in the packet and leave it in the drop box.
