Hiking Trails in Red River

Grab your hiking boots and backpack and head out on a family hiking trip. The Red River Nature Trail is an excellent trail for walkers of all skill levels. This trail is about 3 miles long, and you walk close to the river most of the way. Middle Fork Lake Trail is a 4.3 mile hike. This trail is considered a moderate hike and takes you to a beautiful lake, and is also a popular trail to take the dogs on.

If you’re feeling spontaneous, take the hike up to Gold Hill where you can see Taos Ski Valley. It’s truly an amazing view!
