Located in Valley of the Pines, this 2520 square foot cabin is surrounded by beautiful mountains. Enjoy panoramic views from the wraparound porch at this 3 bedroom, 2 bath property.
You will find an open floor concept when you walk into the property. The living room has a wood burning fireplace and enough seating for the entire family to gather for family game night. Step into the dining room to find a table big enough to seat 10. A small bar separates the dining room from the kitchen, with 3 stools, which is great for breakfast. The large kitchen includes a dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator and standard coffee maker.

The Mountain House is a non-smoking property. Please wash or start the dishwasher and take out the trash before leaving the property. Please don't adjust the refrigerator temperature. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
Check-in procedure
Please check in at the Reservations Unlimited office, located at 312 W Main Red River, NM 87558. Check-in begins at 3:00 PM daily but is not guaranteed during peak periods. If you arrive after hours, you will find an envelope taped to the front door that contains your check-in instructions and other information relevant to your stay. If our office is closed when you arrive, please sign the first sheet in the packet and leave it in the drop box.

The neighborhood
Red River is nestled in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, located in the southernmost part of the Rocky Mountains. The mountain town is completely surrounded by the Carson National Park. Despite being a small town, Red River has an extensive dining selection that is sure to satisfy even the pickiest eater. Enjoy everything from bistros and cafes, to Italian, Mexican, and even the finest steakhouses while maintaining relaxed mountain vibes. Hiking is a fun and easy way to explore the natural beauty that Red River has to offer. There are several leisurely trails around town for those looking to have a relaxing stroll through the Carson National Park, as well as the more challenging terrains for those adventure seekers.
Getting around
Red River is an ideal town for walkers. At a little over one mile long, visitors can easily stroll along the sidewalks and take in all the town has to offer. After shopping, skiing or just enjoying all this mountain offers, visitors have the option to not walk at all. The Red River Miner's Transit provides free year-round, seven-days-a-week, wheelchair-accessible service anywhere in town. Skiers especially love the hotel to slope-side service.
Guest access
To pick up your keys and/or keyless entry code, check in at the Reservations Unlimited office at 312 West Main Street Red River, NM, 87558. Check-in begins at 3:00 PM MST daily but is not guaranteed. If you arrive after 5:00 MST, please look for an envelope with your last name clearly displayed taped next to the front door of the office. Please sign the first page and keep the rest for use during your stay.
Interaction with guests
Guests will receive a confirmation email and text containing much of the information you need for your stay. If you were to ever have any problems, please reach out to the office during regular office hours or use the emergency number that can be found on your check-in paperwork. Our goal is to make your stay as stress-free as possible from the moment you start planning until long after you check out.
Directions
For guests flying into New Mexico, we recommend flying into Albuquerque International Sunport, Santa Fe Municipal Airport or Taos Airport. Once you’ve landed, it’s time to make the short drive to Red River. Rental cars are available at all airport locations.
