Located just 3.5 miles from the town of Red River, Valley of the Pines Chalet is located in the Valley of the Pines subdivision and can accommodate up to 14 guests with its 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. This property is NOT pet-friendly, so Fido will have to stay home.
Upon entering the home, on the second floor, you will find that the living room has a flat screen TV and a gas fireplace for your use after a day out on the slopes or an evening of star gazing. The dining room table can seat 10 guests comfortably with more seating at the island in the large kitchen. (Standard coffee maker) This large room allows everyone to be together but still has enough space for everyone to sit comfortably. You will find one bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom located on this second floor. There is also a propane grill on the deck on this floor.

This is a non-smoking property. Please wash or start dishwasher and take out trash before leaving property. Please don't adjust refrigerator temperature. Please close and secure all doors and windows before leaving the property.
Check-in procedure
Please check in at the Reservations Unlimited office, located at 312 W Main Red River, NM 87558. Check-in begins at 3:00 PM daily but is not guaranteed during peak periods. If you arrive after hours, you will find an envelope taped to the front door that contains your check-in instructions and other information relevant to your stay. If our office is closed when you arrive, please sign the first sheet in the packet and leave it in the drop box.

The neighborhood
Red River is nestled in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, located in the southernmost part of the Rocky Mountains. The mountain town is completely surrounded by the Carson National Park. Despite being a small town, Red River has an extensive dining selection that is sure to satisfy even the pickiest eater. Enjoy everything from bistros and cafes to Italian, Mexican, and even the finest steakhouses while maintaining relaxed mountain vibes. Hiking is a fun and easy way to explore the natural beauty that Red River has to offer. There are several leisurely trails around town for those looking to have a relaxing stroll through the Carson National Park, as well as the more challenging terrains for those adventure seekers.
Getting around
Red River is an ideal town for walkers. At a little over one mile long, visitors can easily stroll along the sidewalks and take in all the town has to offer. After shopping, skiing or just enjoying all this mountain offers, visitors have the option to not walk at all. The Red River Miner's Transit provides free year-round, seven-days-a-week, wheel chair-accessible service anywhere in town. Skiers especially love the hotel to slope-side service.

To pick up your keys and/or keyless entry code, check in at the Reservations Unlimited office located at 312 West Main Street Red River, NM, 87558. If you anticipate being late, you must notify Reservations Unlimited and they will provide instructions to access your reserved property after hours. *Please note that for this property, 4WD is required to access the driveway during the winter months.*
Interaction with guests
Guests will receive a confirmation email containing all the information you will need for your stay. If you were to ever have any problems, please reach out to the office during normal office hours or use the emergency number that can be found on your check-in paperwork. Our goal is to make your stay as stress-free as possible from the moment you start planning, until long after you check out.
Directions
For guests flying into New Mexico, we recommend flying into Albuquerque International Sunport, Santa Fe Municipal Airport or Taos Airport. Once you’ve landed, it’s time to make the short drive to Red River. Rental cars are available at all airport locations.

Has Washer/Dryer Has Trailer Parking This property has no air conditioning, however summer temperatures in Red River are mild, rarely rising above the mid-70s. Trailer parking is limited.
