Welcome to Little Fanny, a charming pet-friendly cabin on the peaceful west end of Red River, just steps from the river and within walking distance of the Red River Ski & Summer Area and Main Street. This cozy cabin sleeps 6 guests comfortably. Inside, the cozy living room features a gas fireplace, a large smart TV with Roku, a DVD player, and a sleeper sofa for extra sleeping space. Guests can also enjoy high-speed WiFi, making it easy to stay connected during your mountain getaway. The dining area opens into a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, plenty of counter space, and ample cabinet storage. A convenient half bathroom is located just off the kitchen. Outside, the spacious covered deck offers comfortable seating and a gas grill, perfect for enjoying the fresh mountain air. Both bedrooms are upstairs. The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, flat-screen TV, private balcony, and easy access to the full bathroom. The second bedroom offers a queen-size bed and its own flat-screen TV. Little Fanny is a great home base for skiing, snowboarding, scenic chairlift rides, zip lining, shopping, dining, and exploring everything Red River has to offer. Please note that this property does not have air conditioning or a washer/dryer, and trailer parking is not available. Four-wheel drive and/or tire chains are recommended during winter months. Whether you are visiting for winter fun, summer adventures, or a relaxing mountain escape, Little Fanny offers a cozy, convenient, and pet-friendly place to call home.

Check-in procedure
Please check in at the Reservations Unlimited office, located at 312 W Main Red River, NM 87558. Check-in begins at 3:00 PM daily but is not guaranteed during peak periods. If you arrive after hours, you will find an envelope taped to the front door that contains your check-in instructions and other information relevant to your stay. If our office is closed when you arrive, please sign the first sheet in the packet and leave it in the drop box.

The neighborhood
Red River is nestled in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, located in the southernmost part of the Rocky Mountains. The mountain town is completely surrounded by the Carson National Park. Despite being a small town, Red River has an extensive dining selection that is sure to satisfy even the pickiest eater. Enjoy everything from bistros and cafes, to Italian, Mexican, and even the finest steakhouses while maintaining relaxed mountain vibes. Hiking is a fun and easy way to explore the natural beauty that Red River has to offer. There are several leisurely trails around town for those looking to have a relaxing stroll through the Carson National Park, as well as the more challenging terrains for those adventure seekers.
Getting around
Red River is an ideal town for walkers. At a little over one mile long, visitors can easily stroll along the sidewalks and take in all the town has to offer. After shopping, skiing or just enjoying all this mountain offers, visitors have the option to not walk at all. The Red River Miner's Transit provides free, year-round, seven-day-a-week, wheelchair-accessible service throughout town. Skiers especially love the property slope-side service.
Guest access
To pick up your keys and/or keyless entry code, check in at the Reservations Unlimited office located at 312 West Main Street, Red River, NM, 87558. If you anticipate being late, you must notify Reservations Unlimited, and they will provide instructions to access your reserved property after hours.
Interaction with guests
Guests will receive a confirmation email containing all the information you will need for your stay. If you were to ever have any problems, please reach out to the office at during normal office hours or use the emergency number that can be found on your check-in paperwork. Our goal is to make your stay as stress-free as possible from the moment you start planning until long after you check out.
Directions
For guests flying into New Mexico, we recommend flying into Albuquerque International Sunport, Santa Fe Municipal Airport or Taos Airport. Once you’ve landed, it’s time to make the short drive to Red River. Rental cars are available at all airport locations.
